Why is GenAI truly a game-changer, and how is Allianz addressing it? Discover the insights in the CIO wager by Axel Schell, CTO at Allianz Technology.
My wager is: "By 2029, all IT investments made by a CIO will include AI or GenAI. There will be no software solutions that can function without AI. AI will be ubiquitous through cloud services and a daily companion—whether in ServiceNow, SAP, Microsoft 365, WebEx, and, of course, in all newly developed internal projects and services."
And a quick survey amongst my Linkedin community showed that the vast majority thinks the same: 90% agree and believe I will win this bet.
Why I am so convinced? This I explained the German-speaking CIO Magazin. If you are interested, you can find the link to the article (in German) here: Künstliche Intelligenz wird bis 2029 allgegenwärtig in der IT sein | CIO DE
To give you a sneak peek of the essentials: it's all about speed and breakthrough innovations, increased computing and financial power.
I also believe that upskilling at scale, investment in tools plus a development of use cases in an agile manner is necessity.
